- Hipa Hipa: Hipa Hipa is probally the most famous club of Managua and Nicaragua. It was founded in 1998 and it started of as a small beach bar and evolved into a popular club. It is located in carretera a Masaya, precisely in a shopping center called Plaza Familiar. Hipa Hipa is rather a small club, but it is very cozy and it sorts of grows into you. It’s theme is rather tropical and casual. Modern tunes predominate such as trance, reggaeton, hip- hop, and pop. It’s audience ranges from 18-35. It is rather inexpensive and the ladies can party here for a very low price. You can be sure to find sexy people showing off their dance moves on the dance floor. It also offers an open bar of beer, rum, and vodka for under 10 dollars. It is definitely an obligation to visit this hotspot on your stay in Nicaragua. - Moods: Moods is Managua newest and most modern club. It is located in the Zona Viva of a shopping mall called Galerias Santo Domingo. It’s location is perfect because it is near restaurants, bars, and even a movie theater. Moods opened up last year and it’s been a hit ever since. It is rather large and it kind of feels like you’re in an underground trance club. It has two stories, numerous bars, and a large stage. Moods has served as a stage to numerous international artists. It’s lighting effects are indescribable. It offers a VIP area and the whole club is a dance floor. You will be sure to see sexy people dancing on top of the tables and bars. The music is similar to Hipa Hipa. The rhythms that predominate are mostly trance, but they also play reggaeton and hip- hop. The audience ranges from 18-35. The only bad thing is that the prices are rather high, and they don’t offer an open bar. Other than that, Moods is definitely an Nicaraguan hot spot.

- T.G.I Friday’s: Friday’s is part of the popular chain of restaurants in the U.S called by the same name. Friday’s offers great American dining. It’s bar offers numerous cocktails and drinks. You will be sure to see the bartenders showing off their skills. Friday’s is definitely a place you have to eat in. The burgers and ribs are breathtaking and they will be sure to satisfy all of your cravings. Make sure to order their chicken wings and drink ice cold beer. The price range is rather inexpensive. The main entrees range from $5-$20. Here in Friday’s it feels as if everyday was a Friday.

Matagalpa
Matagalpa is located in the central region of the country. It is the biggest and most important city in this region. Coffee and agriculture are the main sources of income in this city. Matagalpa is located in high altitudes, therefore the climate is perfect. Matagalpa is surrounded by breathtaking mountains and sceneries. It’s cathedral is beautiful and it’s streets are small. The women are beautiful and it’s nightlife is even better. We will review two hotspots in Matagalpa:

- Crazy Horse: Crazy Horse is a small bar located in the center of Matagalpa, right by it’s central park. It’s decorations are those from the old wild west period. It’s made up entirely of wood and beautiful chandeliers. The walls are decorated with bull heads and horse saddles. It basically summarizes the culture of Matagalpa. It is very cozy and the music is great; you can be sure to always find mariachis willing to play a song for a very low price. It has a great selection of cocktails and the beer is always ice cold. The chicken wings and potato skins are the best appetizers to choose from. The best thing is that there is always low prices and promotions.

- Tequila’s: Tequila’s is the biggest and most modern club of the central region of Nicaragua. It is located in the outskirts of the city, precisely in carretera a Managua. It’s ambient is very tropical and the whole place is surrounded by trees. It has three different sectors. The top story has a huge bar, tables, and a Dj booth. The middle sector holds a huge dance floor. The third sector is a patio area with VIP tables, where it always counts with a fresh breeze. The patio area holds a huge metallic structure complete with neon lights and a dance floor. It is the ideal place for huge events and it has a capacity for 2000 people. Tequila’s opened up 4 years ago and it’s been a boom ever since. It has a huge selection of liquor and beer. It’s prices are awesome and the music that predominates are hip-hop, trance, and reggaeton. The food is also great and you can always be sure to find sexy people getting their groove on at Tequila’s.

San Marcos
San Marcos is located 30 minutes from Managua. San Marcos is a very small town that sorts of grows into you. It is definitely a college town and everything seems to be linked with the university. The nightlife is very casual and laid back. The college students seem to have adopted a pretty wild lifestyle. We will review two spots in San Marcos.

- Crazy Krock: Crazy Krock is San Marcos newest bar. It is located in an apartment complex that holds plenty of college students. It has a pool table and an air hockey table. The decorations are very unique. It has a wall filled with signatures of its clients. The bar is very laid back and casual. Its basically your typical college bar filled with college students. The prices are very cheap and it’s music is awesome. The burgers are very delicious.

- La Casona: La Casona is San Marcos’ best option for dining and drinking. It has a very extensive menu raging from Mexican, American, and Nicaraguan food. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s decoration is very casual. In the evening this restaurant transforms into a wild hotspot. They bring live music on Wednesday nights. It’s price range is rather inexpensive. La Casona is definitely a hot spot where cool people hang out.
